Expectations of a teacher

Schools request effective supply teachers back. Link Education work hard with their teachers to provide an effective staffing solution to its schools. Our teachers and Link’s expectations to our schools are:

To arrive prepared for the day
To liaise with the school in the morning to prepare the teacher for the day
To work with the schools plans or do own work where required
Maintain control of classes with schools behaviour policies (i.e. positive, assertive)
Work as a team with rewards / sanctions
Awareness of child protection issues / SEN pupils - manage accordingly
Primary teachers to mark all work for the day
KS1 pupils – made sure they are collected at end of day
Classrooms left how they were found
On long term assignments to do same role as a full time member of staff
Leave feedback for teacher covered for
SMT to support where necessary
