Vetting Procedures

It is important to us that you have the confidence of an adult being brought into your home. The 'Safeguarding of Children' and 'DfES Quality Mark' endorse our thorough vetting before placing a tutor with you.

The following vetting is carried out before work is offered

CRB - enhanced clearance

List 99 - make sure they are not barred to teach

Full face to face interview, clarifying previous posts, breaks in employment, other employment and gaining knowledge of the work they are looking for.

Health declaration

Verbal and written professional references (2) are undertaken by Link Education

ID - original is copied and held on file

Teaching Qualification - original seen and copy held on file Member of the G.T.C - General Teaching Council

After all the above is complete we would assess the tutors' skills and match the tutor to the students requirements
