TEACHER OF DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY - Our client school in South East London are looking for a motivated, forward thinking Design Technology Teacher to join a highly successful and dynamic department.
The Design and Technology Department have consistently achieved outstanding results at all key stages. At GCSE they are currently oversubscribed and extremely popular, with students achieving 97% A*-C in the last academic year. At KS5 they have an extremely popular course with one of the highest intakes in the school.
Last year A-Level students achieved 100% A*-C. In KS3, the curriculum has been designed to be engaging, enjoyable and challenging which is reflected in the popularity of the subject with all students. Structured schemes of work are in place, which promote progress, achievement and challenge across all abilities.
The Department prides itself on the high level of teaching, consistently delivered to all classes. Staff are continuously updating their teaching practices and endeavour to stay up-to-date with all developments within the subject area.
In order to work with Link Education all applicants must:
Be UK qualified or hold a recognised Teaching or Teaching Assistant Qualification
Have previous Experience Teaching the UK National Curriculum
Hold a current and clear DBS or be happy to apply for a new one
Be able to commit to the full duration of the contract
