Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Long-Term Position – Strood

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive and welcoming primary school in Strood. This is a long-term position working across the school to support teaching and learning in a range of year groups.

About the Role:

• Full-time, long-term position
• Working across various year groups to provide targeted support
• Assisting with planning and delivering lessons alongside class teachers
• Leading small group interventions and covering lessons where required
• Supporting pupils with additional needs to help them reach their full potential

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experience
• Have recent, relevant experience in a UK primary school setting
• Be confident working across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Be flexible, proactive, and able to adapt to the needs of different classes
• Have a strong understanding of safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
