We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive Good-rated Primary School in Swanley. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident KS2 teacher looking for a part-time role, working mornings only.
The school is looking for someone who can deliver engaging and purposeful lessons, maintain strong classroom routines, and ensure pupils remain motivated and on track with their learning throughout the morning timetable.
The Role
As the Year 5 Teacher (AM Cover), you will:
- plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- ensure strong progress and engagement during the morning session
- maintain positive behaviour and clear classroom expectations
- assess learning effectively and provide feedback to pupils
- work collaboratively with the team to ensure continuity of learning
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- have KS2 teaching experience (Year 5 experience desirable)
- be confident, organised and able to build relationships quickly
- have strong behaviour management skills and high expectations
- be adaptable and committed to supporting all pupils
