Nursery / EYFS Teaching Assistant – Orpington
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and proactive Nursery/EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and collaborative primary school team based in Orpington. This role will involve working across both nursery and reception classes, supporting children at a crucial stage in their development.
You will play a key role in encouraging children to be unique, fostering their curiosity and supporting them on a journey of discovery, helping them to become confident and inquisitive learners.
As a Nursery/EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will immerse yourself in a stimulating Early Years environment, engaging children through creative play and hands-on learning. The ability to sing in tune is not essential — but the confidence to join in enthusiastically certainly is!
You will be well supported, working alongside a committed and experienced team of practitioners and teachers. This role would suit someone who is passionate about Early Years education and making a meaningful difference to children’s learning experiences.

- Committed to creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment, both indoors and outdoors
- Passionate about early childhood education and supporting children’s development
- Confident in observing children and planning activities for small groups

- Enthusiastic, proactive and eager to contribute to a supportive team
