Design & Technology Teacher – Dartford

We are now looking for an experienced and energetic Art and Design Teacher, to join one of our lovely schools in Dartford. The role is on long term, full-time basis to start ASAP. The position will include teaching students at KS3 and A-Level.

The school strives to be the best they can be so the ideal individual for the role should be someone who is successful and hardworking by nature. With an outstanding art department and amazing materials, they have the tools for someone to demand nothing but amazing results for the students and the school.

Teaching and Learning:

  • Excellent classroom practitioner
  • Effective and consistent behaviour management
  • Enthusiasm and passion for the subject
  • Ability to inspire confidence in students and staff.
  • High expectations for self and others
  • Ability to be self-motivated and ability to motivate others to continually improve standards and achievement.
  • Be reflective of own practice and be willing to act upon feedback and be open to coaching and mentoring.

Requirements:

  • QTS or PGCE
  • Experience planning and taking lessons.
  • Experience with working in KS3 ,4 & 5 .
  • Enhanced DBS
