Interim Geography Teacher – Bromley
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded and high-performing secondary school in Dartford, which is looking to appoint an inspiring and experienced Geography Teacher for an interim position. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a teacher with a strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Geography to work in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, engaging students through well-planned and dynamic lessons. Key Duties / Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress.
- Develop and implement engaging teaching materials and practical experiments.
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the science department.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience of delivering Science at KS3, KS4, & KS5
- Proven track record of strong student outcomes
- Experience or potential to lead and inspire a department
- A degree in Geography or related subject
