Year 6 Teacher – Swanscombe

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a ‘Good’ rated primary school located in the Swanscombe area, which is seeking a committed and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their team from the start of the new academic year.

This is a full-time position, 5 days per week, and can be offered either as long-term supply or as a full teaching role, depending on the preference and experience of the candidate.

The Role:

• Full classroom responsibility for a Year 6 class

• Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum

• Prepare pupils for their SATS assessments with targeted support

• Foster a positive, focused, and supportive learning environment

• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Valid Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service

• Proven experience teaching Year 6 and supporting pupils through SATS preparation

• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate pupils
