KS2 Class Teacher – Orpington

We are currently working with a ‘good’ Primary School is located in the heart of Orpington. In this school the teachers know their pupils very well and they have high expectations of pupils and expect them to work hard and achieve their best.

This school is currently seeking a full time enthusiastic, caring and dedicated KS2 Class teacher to start ASAP, who has a passion for working with children in an exciting and dynamic environment, where the children are at the heart of everything they do.

This school strives to provide children with the best opportunities to achieve, not only across the curriculum but through a diverse range of excellent experiences both inside and outside the classroom to benefit the whole child.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish a safe, organised and stimulating environment that fosters curiosity, independence and celebrates pupils’ achievements.
• To take responsibility for the progress of all pupils in the class.
• Set clear targets for pupils’ learning, building on prior attainment, and ensuring pupils are aware of the substance and purpose of what they are asked to do
• To adhere to all school Safeguarding policies and procedure and to be familiar with and support the aims, ethos and policies of the school
• Work closely with parents and carers for the benefit of the children

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching within a primary school
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive learning environment and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
