Music Teacher – Abbey Wood
We are assisting a well-regarded secondary school in the Abbey Wood area in recruiting a driven and passionate Music Teacher who is dedicated to inspiring students through the power of music.
This role is ideal for an inspirational Music Teacher with excellent subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for the arts. You will join a vibrant and enthusiastic department, collaborating closely with a talented and supportive team to deliver a rich and engaging music curriculum.
Ideal Candidate:
- Well-organized and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Works well with staff and pupils.
- Strong classroom management and keen to make a difference in the lives of young people.
- Familiar with Music at KS5 and the GCSE specification at KS4.
- Ready to work with young people both in lessons and as a tutor.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Or equivalent and a relevant degree.
- Experience: Proven experience teaching Music across secondary schools and further education.
- Passion for education: A genuine passion for working with children and enjoying the school environment.
- Professionalism: Punctual, trustworthy, able to work as part of a team, and develop and maintain positive relationships with all staff.
- Commitment: Willingness to “go the extra mile” to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
