SEN Teaching Assistant – Wadhurst

We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our client schools in the Wadhurst area for a Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant. This long-term role is ideal for someone with a strong background in supporting students with specific physical needs.

You will be working closely with pupils who require physical assistance throughout the school day and must have practical and theoretical knowledge of moving and handling procedures to be considered.

Requirements:

  • TA qualification or a degree and 6 months experience working with children
  • Enhanced DBS assigned to the online update service
  • Moving and handling practical and theory
  • Experienced working within a SEN setting
  • Passionate about working with children
