Year 5/6 Teacher – Orpington

We are actively recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5/6 Teacher to join a primary school in the Orpington area. This is a full-time, long-term position working five days per week, including PPA time. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge pupils, while supporting their academic and personal development.

You will be part of a supportive school community that values collaboration and professional growth. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children during these crucial years of their education.

The ideal candidate will have excellent classroom management skills, a passion for teaching upper key stage 2, and the ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Experience working with children in Year 5 and 6 is preferred, along with a commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

You should have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum

• Experience supporting students with their SATs preparation

• A passionate, enthusiastic approach and a strong work ethic
