About the Role
A welcoming and supportive primary school in Gravesend is seeking an experienced and committed Key Stage 2 Teacher to take on a long-term cover role within a mixed Year 3/4 class. This is a full teaching position, requiring full classroom responsibilities including planning, preparation, marking, and assessment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Plan, prepare, and assess pupils’ work to a high standard
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment
- Monitor and support pupil progress, adapting teaching where necessary
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and senior leadership
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting where required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (ideally Year 3/4)
- Strong classroom management skills
- A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching
- Commitment to delivering high-quality education and supporting pupil development
