English Teacher – Bromley


We are working with a vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in the Bromley area to recruit a passionate and committed English Teacher to join their thriving English department.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated educator with excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for English to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 teaching may be available for suitable candidates). The successful applicant will work within a supportive, collaborative team that is dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Well-organized and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Works well with staff and pupils.
  • Strong classroom management and keen to make a difference in the lives of young people.
  • Familiar with English at KS5 and the GCSE specification at KS4.
  • Ready to work with young people both in lessons and as a tutor.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Or equivalent and a relevant degree.
  • Experience: Proven experience teaching English across secondary schools and further education.
  • Passion for education: A genuine passion for working with children and enjoying the school environment.
  • Professionalism: Punctual, trustworthy, able to work as part of a team, and develop and maintain positive relationships with all staff.
  • Commitment: Willingness to “go the extra mile” to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
