General Cover Teachers – Secondary Schools – Maidstone

We are currently seeking a number of flexible and reliable General Cover Teachers to support a variety of secondary schools in the Maidstone area on a day-to-day supply basis. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced educators who enjoy working across different school environments and subject areas.

The Role

• Provide classroom cover in the absence of the regular teacher

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, including Maths, English, Science, Geography, History, and more

• Maintain a positive and well-managed learning environment

• Ensure continuity of learning and uphold school behaviour policies

Candidate Requirements

• An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

• Previous experience delivering lessons or covering classes in a secondary school setting

• A genuine passion for working with young people

• Strong classroom management skills

• Punctual, dependable, and professional
