Design & Technology Technician – Bromley

A school based in Bromley are looking for a Design & Technology Technician to join them ready for September.

Teaching and Learning:

• Assist with the setting up of Technology resources across the Department (Resistant Materials, Textiles, Food Technology and Art), as required.
• Preparing apparatus, materials and solutions and setting up equipment and apparatus for use in practical classes and / or examinations / assessments across the department.
• Support teachers across the Department during classes and clubs, both during and after the school day.
• Ensure all rooms after lessons are clean and tidy and ready for the next lesson.
• Assist the Head of Department with maintaining material stocks for the department, ensuring forthcoming pupil needs are met.
• Update of the equipment stock list register, and ensure that all equipment is maintained and serviced on a timely basis.
• Continuously develop your own practice, taking responsibility for identifying and addressing your own training and development needs.
