Cover Supervisor – Plumstead

Link Education are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors in the Plumstead area.

We are looking for experienced Cover Supervisors, who are looking to work day to day supply across Secondary Schools. The role will be across a mix of Schools in Plumstead and surrounding areas.

Cover Supervisor: The Role

The Cover Supervisor will be expected to undertake the specified teaching role including delivering lessons and leading the classroom. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for keeping your students interested and engaged with tasks in line with the national curriculum.

The right candidate will have the ability to teach, motivate and inspire students, working with both the other class teachers and teaching assistants.

Cover Supervisor: Candidate Requirements

  • We are looking for a Cover Supervisor with strong knowledge of the curriculum and experience, undertaking the full specified role.
  • Strong classroom experience / classroom experience referees
  • All applicants must either have a valid Enhanced DBS check, registered with the DBS Update Service or, be willing to apply for a new one immediately upon shortlisting for this role.
  • Be professional, reliable and punctual when attending bookings.
  • This role requires experience in the UK and a confident understanding of safeguarding and the importance of safe practice in a Secondary school environment.
