We are currently recruiting on behalf of a lovely nursery based in Beckenham, who are actively seeking experienced Room Leaders to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-managed nursery with an involved and supportive senior leadership team.
The position is based in either the Baby Room or Pre-School Room and is offered on a full-time basis (40 hours per week). Shifts are organised on a weekly rota of 4 full days and 1 half day, giving you a healthy work/life balance while being fully involved in the nursery’s daily routines.
Role Responsibilities:

Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the room
-
Be a positive role model for other nursery practitioners

Lead and supervise engaging, age-appropriate activities and planning
-
Provide support and guidance to other team members
-
Ensure all children are cared for in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
Requirements:
-
A Level 3 or above qualification in Childcare

Previous experience working as a Room Leader

A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

A reliable, enthusiastic, and trustworthy attitude

A genuine passion for early years education and development
