Business Studies Teacher – Bexleyheath
We are recruiting on behalf of one of our secondary schools within the Bexleyheath area who are looking to recruit recruiting a driven Business Teacher who has a real passion for the subject and a drive to instil this in your learners.
We are helping our client to seek an inspirational Teacher of Business with excellent subject knowledge. The successful candidate will join the school’s enthusiastic department, working and collaborating with an exceptionally dedicated and talented team of practitioners.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Somebody who is well-organised, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Somebody who works well with staff and pupils
- Strong classroom management skills and keen to make a difference to the lives of young people
- Knowledge of Business Studies at KS4 and KS5.
- Someone ready to work with young people both in lessons and as a tutor
Your key responsibilities will include:
- To plan and deliver outstanding lessons that engage and excite children and ensure that all students make good and better progress
- To monitor the progress of all students taught, ensuring high standards of work reporting to Head of Department /Line Manager when agreed
- To communicate with parents about students’ progress through reports, parents’ evenings etc.
- To be responsible for maintaining teaching rooms in a clean and tidy state and facilitating the display of students’ work and maintain good order and behaviour in the classroom
- To participate in appropriate arrangements for in service training and professional development

Requirements:
- Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant degree
- Experience teaching Business across secondary schools and further education.
- A genuine passion for working with children and enjoy working in a school environment.
- Punctual, trustworthy and can work as part of a team and to develop and maintain positive relationships with all staff.
- A commitment to “go the extra mile” to ensure the best outcomes for every child
