The Role
As a Compliance, Payroll & Marketing Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual who can manage compliance obligations, oversee payroll administration, and contribute to marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance:

  • Ensure the organisation adheres to UK laws, including Right to Work checks.
  • Organise and maintain Enhanced DBS checks, overseas police checks (where required), verify references and obtain copies of relevant documents and certificates.
  • Maintain compliance records aligned with GDPR, safeguarding, and other UK regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare necessary compliance documentation for internal or external audits.
  • Monitor changes in employment law or industry regulations and ensure company policies reflect these changes.

Payroll:

  • Collect and process payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, additional payments, and deductions.
  • Operate Sage payroll systems to calculate wages.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submissions for PAYE, National Insurance, and RTI (Real Time Information).
  • Manage auto-enrolment and contributions through NEST.
  • Prepare and distribute P60s, P45s, and other statutory documents.
  • Address payroll-related queries from employees and liaise with external bodies like HMRC if necessary.

Marketing:

  • Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including mailer, social media content, and promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain and update the company website and social media channels.
  • Write, post, and monitor job or service adverts on job boards, social platforms, and industry websites.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to demonstrate:

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
