English Teacher – Bromley
We are assisting a secondary school in the Bromley area in recruiting for a driven English Teacher with a real passion for the subject and a dedication to inspiring students. This role is for a Permanent position within one of our SEN school.
This role is perfect for an inspirational Teacher of English with excellent subject knowledge, who will join the school’s enthusiastic department and collaborate with a dedicated and talented team.
The successful candidate will have experience teaching secondary students and be a dedicated professional, committed to supporting children in developing their knowledge and skills. There is no requirement for experience in an SEN environment, only that the candidate is able to teach at GCSE level. This role will be a full role inclusive of planning, preparation, and assessment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Well-organized and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Works well with staff and pupils.
- Strong classroom management and keen to make a difference in the lives of young people.
- Familiar with English in KS3, KS4 and also KS5.
- Ready to work with young people both in lessons and as a tutor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and exciting English lessons that inspire young learners.
- Support children in developing their knowledge and skills in a nurturing environment.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Or equivalent and a relevant degree.
- Experience: Proven experience teaching English across secondary schools and further education.
- Passion for education: A genuine passion for working with children and enjoying the school environment.
- Professionalism: Punctual, trustworthy, able to work as part of a team, and develop and maintain positive relationships with all staff.
- Commitment: Willingness to “go the extra mile” to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
