KS2 Class Teacher – Erith

Vacancy overview: We are working in partnership with a warm and welcoming primary school in Erith who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Class Teacher to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to begin their teaching journey in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Duties / Responsibilities:

-Teaching a Key Stage 2 class (Year group to be confirmed based on experience and school needs)

• Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Assessing and tracking pupil progress to ensure all children reach their potential
• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
• Creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment

Requirements:

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Have experience teaching within KS2 (or strong KS1 experience and confidence transitioning)
• Be passionate about making a difference in children’s lives
• Be committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
• Have excellent classroom management skills
• Work well as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community
