English Teacher – KS3 & KS4
Long-Term Opportunity | Potential to Go Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced English Teacher to join a secondary school in a long-term role, teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. This is a great opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher looking to make a real impact in the classroom.

There is potential for the role to become permanent, depending on the decision of the substantive post holder.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and creative English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students

  • Complete full teaching duties, including planning, preparation, and assessment

  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

  • Support the department with any ongoing curriculum development

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

  • Proven experience teaching English in secondary schools

  • A genuine passion for education and a nurturing approach to student learning

  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high standards
